In 2007, Susan Wagner envisioned a different look for concrete. The results: a brand new product she calls “Metallic-infused Concrete.” Winner of California Home and Design 2008 Award for New Product Design, the tiles combine lush, saturated color, the look of polished metal and the strength of concrete. Concrete and Glass Sampler

Created for the 2008 exhibition “ New West Coast Design” at the San Francisco Museum of Craft and Design, the work features integral-colored “Metallic-infused” concrete tiles combined with a single band of fused glass. The tiles are from a new line of concrete tiles designed by Susan, and are arranged in this “Sampler” to show just one of many combinations available to architects, designers and home- builders. |
