The Rosary Windows
St. Bernard’s parishioners and their pastor, Father Ivo Rocha, chose The Mysteries of the Rosary as the theme for twelve large stained glass windows circling the church. Over a period of several years, Susan designed and personally constructed deeply symbolic and meaningful visual interpretations of the Rosary prayer cycle.
Each window is 11 feet tall, made of European stained glass. The figures, shading and floral areas are painted in a technique similar to that seen in medieval church windows.
